• The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. The March of Dimes carries out this mission through programs of research, community services, education and advocacy. www.marchofdimes.com/florida
• Pathfinder Outdoor Education Transforming community through the power of facilitated experiences, Pathfinder helps youth and adults create more positive and fully engaged learning communities, emphasizing leadership & character, training & team-building, adventure & challenge as well as classroom enrichment. A nonprofit, 501c3, accredited by the Association for Experiential Learning - Pathfinder provides experience-based classroom enrichment, training and adventure programs to groups seeking to create a more positive and fully engaged community. Our approach makes personal and social responsibility a reality for more than 6,000 participants annually. Pathfinder facilitators are experts at learning transfer. We guide participants to connect the Pathfinder experience to their individual, team, classroom and company goals. Ranging from 1 - 4 days, Pathfinder programs are offered at several Tampa Bay area camp and conference centers with grounds and facilities offering the beauty and character of discovery that only the outdoors can provide. • Hospice Perinatal Loss Doula Services. We provide grief and bereavement support during labor to mothers experiencing a fetal or newborn death.
• Lifeforce Cultural Arts Academy. We utilize cultural and performing arts to help youth, adults and families promote cultural expression education enhancement and life skills development.
• Mike Alstott Family Foundation. The foundation was formed to allow the Alstotts to assist others in uplifting the minds, hearts and spirits of families and children on their way to realizing their full potential through various events, assistance programs, and celebrations. • Faith in Action of Upper Pinellas is a not-for-profit, non-sectarian agency that exists to enhance the quality of life and promote the health and well being of the frail elderly and persons with disabilities to enable them to remain independent in their own homes. Our services include transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, light house-keeping, yard work, telephone assurance calls, respite care for the primary caregiver, personal services, friendly visits, a source to link individuals with other services available in the community, cell phone/safety phone distribution and our Strong for Life exercise program (especially Falls Prevention and balance exercises). www.fiaup.org
• American Red Cross N. Pinellas Chapter is on a mission to help those victims of disasters locally & nationally by providing volunteers who are strongly committed to the service of mankind.
• Soulful Arts Dance Academy (SADA) is a non-profit community arts organization dedicated to inspiring, nurturing, developing and enhancing a diverse arts experience throughout the community.
